Privacy policy
Coattail Entertainment LLC (“Coattail”, “we”) is a film production company in Detroit, Michigan. We also operate WUD (wudetroit.com), a production network for film crew, actors and producers. This policy covers this website and the Coattail business. The WUD app has its own, fuller policy at wudetroit.com/privacy.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you email or fill in a form, we keep your name, email address, any phone number you give us, and what you wrote.
- Mobile number and messaging consent. If you join WUD and opt in to text messages, we keep your mobile number, whether you consented, the exact wording you were shown, and when.
- Basic site data. Standard web server logs. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not track your location.
Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your mobile number and your consent to be texted are used only to send the messages described in our text messaging terms. We do not sell them, rent them, or pass them to anybody else for marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, or from Notifications in the WUD app.
Who else sees your information
- Service providers who run things on our behalf — website hosting, email, and the messaging carrier that delivers our texts. They may use it only to provide that service to us.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it for the purpose it was given, and then we delete it. Messaging consent records are kept for as long as you are opted in, and afterwards only as long as needed to show that consent existed and was withdrawn.
Your choices
Email info@coattailcollective.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To stop texts, reply STOP to any message.
Children
Coattail and WUD are for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will post the new version here with a new date.
